"Nice place to stay in La Fortuna. The staff were friendly and the grounds were nice. The included breakfast was awesome and there is a great view of the river from the breakfast area. The beds had memory foam mattresses and the WiFi and AC worked well on the rooms, the private patio was also really nice. The cabins are next to the road and you can hear some road noise."

"Absolutely gorgeous place! We were in heaven there. It’s a beautiful lodge in a field of colorful flowers. And the location is wonderful—it’s in the adorable mountainous town of Upala, right by Sensoria and La Catedral, both of which I highly recommend (but farther some of the other hiking trails). The staff are kind and helpful with booking activities, and the dog who lives there, Canela, is super sweet. My recommendations for the owners are to provide extra blankets because it can get a...
