"The lovely staff person, Lilliana was amazing. She expressed that English was not her first language but she was able to communicate what we needed to know perfectly and she was so kind and helpful. Verdi is an older place with great character but a bit worn and washroom was functional but very tired looking. Lilliana is a gem that knows her job well and was most helpful. She is what made the stay worth it. Five plus stars for Lilliana!☺️"

"Circa 1905 is centrally located in the De L’eixample neighborhood and only steps away from Gaudi’s La Pedrera. The BnB is tastefully appointed - understated and comfortable - in keeping with its location in central Barcelona. Friends of ours stayed here a few years ago and give Circa 1905 rave reviews. "The main floor front entrance to the property was filled with construction materials and smelled bad. Luggage had to be carried up a flight of stairs to an elevator. The Boutique 8 B & B hotel itself was lovely, quiet and clean. However, the room was not ready when I arrived shortly after check-in time.
