"The Blaumar has everything you could possibly want for a quiet relaxing family holiday. I’ve been here twice in the last year with different ages of kids and adults and it caters for young and old. The staff are amazing from the reception staff to the staff at the pool. Fantastic entertainment. The only reason we left the hotel was to use the hotels beach bar across the road at the beach. "Very positive review coming. We are a couple in our 50s and 60s. Disregard the majority of the negative reviews, they put bad reviews usually of 1 bad incident. Friendly, welcoming arrival, fast efficient reception staff. Everywhere clean and constantly being cleaned. Smiley friendly staff all round. Good facilities for everyone, especially for families. Fantastic waterpark included free. We stayed for half board for one week and the food was very varied. Many theme nights such as Ethnic, Gala, seafood, Mexican etc. Good quality and choice for meat or fish eaters, some varieties for vegetarians and intolerances too. The downstairs Braseria served the best grilled meats and fish in a relaxed and comfortable environment. We had a daily maid service with beds made and fresh towels and general cleaning. Stunning views and beautiful sunsets from the beach. The negatives were that the wifi was not good ( but when is it ever in hotels.?) The indoor pool never looked clean as was used by mostly young children, would've been nice for adults only. Special thanks go to the room cleaning staff, the busy but friendly restaurant staff, Raul in the Braseria and bar manager for his kindness. Finally to Sandra on Guest services.
