Far View Lodge

Far View Lodge

10/10 Excellent
"Consider that the facility is older, has a lot of visitors and is located in an extremely remote location. Despite these facts, the grounds are well-kept and provide extensive areas to walk and view really unique vistas. Our room was clean and cozy. There is internet but no TV and no cell phone service; however, youโ€™re staying on the top of a remote mesa at 8000 ft. If you canโ€™t survive without television, I recommend you bring portable Starlink. Did not think of trying to stream through the internet connection and that might be an option. Food at the restaurant was exceptionally good. You have a private balcony and shower water was plenty hot. Our stay was quite enjoyable and memorable. We drove in our own vehicle and the road is well- maintained and safe if maybe a little daunting. Great experience!"
