"We loved our stay at 1906. Such a wonderful property tucked away from the summer travelers, yet so close to everything. The staff was wonderful as were all the amenities. We enjoyed a concert in the park, good food & coffee, beach walks - all walking distance from the hotel. We loved our room with a private porch. The hotel has an incredible breakfast as well as bikes and beach gear. Wonderful staycation for us San Diegans. We will definitely be back. "

"Very clean and comfortable beds. The swimming pool was a little yellow, but wasn't too bad. Overall nice location and clean, nice room. We found street parking in front and avoided the $10 parking fee. "

"We flew an out-of-town staff member up for our 2026 planning event. We wanted some place that was safe, convenient, a lovely setting to go walking and this fit the bill without breaking the bank. The staff were great and it was just a wonderful experience. We will do this again!"
