"I had an extremely poor experience at easyHotel Ipswich and would not stay here again. Before arrival, I contacted the hotel to add my daughter to the booking but received no response. Instead, I was sent a generic reminder to bring ID, which I did (including my passport), yet no ID was even checked on arrival. We arrived at 9:30pm and were given a room that was not suitable for a family, despite my prior request. When I raised this at reception, I was told the hotel was fully booked and that...

"We were fortunate to have a huge room overlooking the grounds, huge bathroom, the decor was good it's just a shame that it's not been finished off very well, just small things like the bathroom door not fully shutting, toilet seat very loose, the step between the bedroom and bathroom not finished the grouting not completed ,but for what we paid we can't complain. The cleaning was ok until we pulled out the single bed to find crisp packets etc. Very thoughtful with cups , cutlery, bowls etc....

Air conditioning did not work, reported to front desk but they said they couldn't do anything and it was probably because everyone had it on. 26° inside, really bad nights sleep. Don't advertise something you aren't going to make adequate provision for."
