"Our room was nice and clean and comfortable. The location itself was good. The maids were very kind. The area as a whole seemed kinda rundown and messy. The day desk person seemed to live in his own world. He never looked up or acknowledged us when entering for breakfast and was either on his phone or just talking out loud. The gentlemen who checked us in was very helpful and friendly tho. A bigger breakfast room wood be nice and a different variety of breakfast foods would have been nice...

"The hotel looked nothing like the pictures on Expedia. The curtains were ripped, the room stank, the comforters had cigarette burns, the pillow cases had stains on them, the door looked like it had been kicked in. Very bad vibe, I ended up staying someplace else. The front workers were friendly but I wouldn’t recommend staying here."

"The Gallatin is a cool, funky hotel in an up and coming neighborhood. Strong art vibe. Incredible restaurants and vintage thrift nearby as well as grocery stores and CvS/Wallgreens. Easy to get in and out with keypad access. Communication via email and text was timely and helpful. Perfectly situated just a few miles from Downtown Nashville and just far enough away to be out of the fray."
