They also were nice enough to change me from a 2nd floor room to the first floor when they found out that I was having a knee replacement. The ebening after my surgery my sister went to the Bar/Restaurant and was able to get us someting to eat which was very good. "Really enjoyed my stay. Staff very friendly. Nice location, off the lake. Just a couple of issues. Tough to locate some basic necessities, like cups, dishes silverware. But if you ask staff, they will definitely help. Rooms a little small and slanted. Restaurant only opened Thursday through Sunday, and I was not aware of this. Invited my in laws to dinner there on a Wednesday, only to find out after they arrived, that the restaurant was closed."

"I would avoid this hotel, unless you absolutely have to stay there. It is off the exit, and then a convoluted, series of turns where it sits alone on a hill. Right away one can see it hasn't been maintained well, and the smell of air fresheners are quite strong. Everything in the room seemed worn down, misaligned, unmaintained. The walls and floors are thin, very cheap build. Bathroom amenities were two small bars of soap, the cheap kind. Breakfast was included, but terrible. One waffle...

"Everything was nice and neat. It was just smaller than I expected. I could hardly turn around in the shower because it was so small. The staff was very helpful in helping us get around town and finding eating places."
