"The location of this house was great. Close to everything. The room was OK, with a big comfortable.bed but it was very, very small, as was the bathroom. Apart from.missing a night table on one side of the bed, it had everything the traveler might need. To access the room one needs to use a narrow staircase, so it would not be suitable for a person with limited mobility."

"The breakfast was good and plentiful. We were upgraded to a suite with a separate bedroom and balcony. Loved them both. Look forward to our stay next year."

"I addition to the awesome room itself, the location to Parliament Hill and the Canada Festivities could not have been better. There was a short cut out the back as well. Took the O-train for the first time and it was so close and easy."

"Good continental breakfast, staff worked well to keep up with the demand. Suite was clean. I would recommend having someone at the front desk. No one was there when we arrived in and it was frustrating after a long travel day having to wait 30 min to talk to someone about checking in and then getting our room. Excellent location."

"The Hôtel is very old and unfortunately smells bad. I had a room on 2nd floor, when I checked in late night, first thing I saw on the floor was a roach , I was staying only for one night and too tired to go and complain about it. The room smelt too old and AC was not cooling down the small room. It’s time for a major renovation in the room . The only positive note is the location."

"Had to pay an extra 25$ for parking. One elevator was not working so many people waited to use it and it caused frustration among the guests. There was a rupture in one of the pipes and water ingress was present near the business rooms. Not what I expected from Hilton, especially what they charged for the night."

"Staff were great. Room (12th floor) was dated. AC vent was dirty and musty smelling. Shower grout needed to be cleaned. Carpet outside our door was a trip hazard. Inside our daughter was stuck with a staple, in her foot. But great views of Parliament Hill and great down town location. Was told they could accommodate Celiac Disease (which Daly's restaurant was great that way) But the in room dining from A La Carte, could not offer us anything Gluten Free, when we called. "The hotel was clean and staff very friendly and accommodating. The entrance door to the room could use an update though, it did not look sturdy. Everything else was very good. The underground parking is very useful and easily accessible."

"Parking was easy. The staff was really helpful. Good location. We went to the Ballett and could walk to restaurants and the venue."

"Spacious suites and well maintained. The outdoor pool was a lot of fun and large. The gym is well equipped but would benefit from extended hours (closes at 10pm). Parking is free and the location is convenient to drive to various points in Ottawa. There is also a bus stop right outside if you want to take public transit. There is a Shoppers Drug Mart and a Food Basics within walking distance as well. Breakfast is not included but there is an on site restaurant that is reasonably priced."

"Excellent location, quiet, clean room. I would have liked a better equipped kitchen. I stayed in two different rooms and found the supplies for actually cooking to be a bit lacking. I had minor issues following check in on both occasions and they were dealt with promptly and efficiently. Overall it's a great, reasonably priced place to stay."

"It was charming. The staff was nice. Could be improved by putting the open bars at the bottom of the room/cell doors at the top to make more privacy while letting natural light in from the hallway."

"A very convenient location. However, even though everyone is doing it, 28.00 plus tax per day for parking on their property seems a bit of a gouge. And, the server in the restaurant working all by herself was sad to see, She was doing her best but at mealtime, 2 should be the minimum number of workers in Cooper's Kitchen. O the upside, I was very surprised as I walked into the room to find it was a "junior suite" with a small kitchen. Too cool."
