"Had a lovely stay with my partner and nearly one year old baby. Prior to arrival we had paid for parking and the "Baby kit". There was delayed communication about where to park, but it was resolved just in time before we reached Evancy. When we checked-in we immediately saw the "Baby kit" wasn't in the room so we had to go down to tell reception - luckily staff was on hand to sort it out quickly. Once we settled in, the stay was great! A note though, the Expedia listing for this property specifically mentions the absence of a lift - which is not true! There are two lifts serving the floors, including the floor for the car park."

"Fabulous old school French hotel with a fantastic restaurant and welcoming staff. Secure parking as well if you’re travelling with a car full of possessions. We loved our stay and the fantastic meal in the evening topped it off. My only slight criticism was I thought the breakfast was slightly underwhelming but that’s being me really nitpicking. We will return."

"Lovely little hotel near the seafront over looking the river. Good sized family suites with comfortable beds. The bar area was really pleasant and the staff were friendly. The breakfast was really fresh too (fresh bread and croissants etc). We would stay again. Excellent location to Calais and the little seafront town was worth a visit."

"Great location and really friendly helpful staff. The room had a Jacuzzi style bath which was really nice after a long day! Only negative was the broken bathroom floor under the laminate which seemed like it was long overdue a repair."

"One night beifre getting the train home. Recommend the carrpark even if it is a 5 minute walk away through another hotel lobby and an extra 20 euros. The town is very busy and ckngested lots of resident parking Theres a bakery 20m away for a quick and cheaper breakfast ."

"Staff were lovely. A friendly welcome and a bottle of water each on check in. The bedroom was OK but nothing special. The en-suite was brand new and excellent. No tea/coffee making facilities in the room was disappointing. The bed was comfortable so had a good night’s sleep and a lovely hot shower in the morning. We did not have breakfast as we had to get off early to get the Eurotunnel train home. The old town in Boulogne-sur-mer was lovely. "

"The only downside to our stay here was that it was not long enough!! We stayed as a stop back to the uk but wish we had booked for longer. The location I can’t imagine there is a better located place to stay in the city. Can literally see the beautiful dome of the cathedral from our bed! The room is beautifully designed and comfortable with a lovely kitchen area which was really helpful with two small children. The owner greeted us on arrival and was extremely helpful. The breakfast was beautiful and they very kindly agreed to deliver earlier so we could have it before setting off to catch our ferry. A gorgeous stay and we would definitely stay here again should we return! Thank you"
