"This hotel was charming & historic. It is perfect for a genuine Cape May experience. Close to everything. That being said it does lack amenities that are expected in most hotels including an elevator and parking. We were on the top floor and not young (women). They did bring our bags up and down for which we were grateful. Wee enjoyed the nightly entertainment in the bar. As they had weddings on 2 of the nights we stayed we did not visit the restaurant. I was disappointed I could not taste the famous fried chicken. It it meant to be a getaway from the daily grind so no tv, telephone or clocks in our room. What it lacks in amenities it make up for with old world charm."
