Hotel murah di Colchester

"While close to town center getting there requires a walk up a very steep hill--not suitable for old people. The hotel was helpful in terminating our stay after one day. A well placed hotel for younger people requiring a basic hotel. Breafast was good. Evening menu should be avoided."

"Breakfast menu quite limited"

"No signs for the exit in the ladies pool changing room, and nowhere to leave your room key, which activates your locker, if you can work out how to do it. Nice pool and jacuzzi though, rooms could do with a deep clean, but daily basics are done and it's comfortable. Staff are very helpful and happy to help with queries, rooms spacious and mine had a lovely view, plenty of (free) parking."

"Specifically booked this hotel because of the heat and the website stating air conditioning in every room. Air conditioning did not work, reported to front desk but they said they couldn't do anything and it was probably because everyone had it on. 26° inside, really bad nights sleep. Don't advertise something you aren't going to make adequate provision for."

"We booked a last minute break as the weather was expected to be great and this little hotel and pub turned out to be every bit as good as the weather. The room was quite compact but equally very comfortable, and had the benefit of a balcony over looking the estuary and boat yard. The afternoon entertainment in the garden was really good as was the fresh fish, prawns and oysters served from the garden bar. "Beautiful setting , not too far from home but we wanted to escape the beach crowds from home and it was very peaceful at the hotel. Had an overcharge issue with drinks bill but have been told it’s being dealt with. Special Thankyou to Abby for her help."

"Ok but do NOT book in the summer!! Only one room has air con and the heated towel rail can not be turned off! Even with the fuse removed (owner advised we remove). This made the bathroom ridiculous hot which filtered through to the room. Room wasn’t the cleanest, stains up the walls from coffee (I hope) Aircon in all rooms would make it much more comfortable and the rest could be overlooked. Staff were fantastic though."

"A very old property but well maintained a little too far ouut of town but parking was perfect and breakfast perfect as out of season mid week hotel not full so no early bar etc."
