"Fantastic hotel - clean, comfortable, friendly and helpful staff, delicious breakfast and evening meals, and a truly amazing pool - it really is as big as it looks - 100m long! The hotel is located on a lovely clean beach which is great for surfing, and is not far from Sintra - easy car drive, or a bus stops close to the hotel. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it. "

"This is a truly beautiful property and would be perfect for a destination wedding or other gathering. The guest house is magnificently appointed. The grounds are beautiful. There’s a swimming, pool and tennis courts. The host of the guest house personally greeted us. We had breakfast made to order on the patio. "The welcome at arrival was pleasant and service during our stay was supportive and very nice. The breakfast was prepared according to our wishes, and served in a very friendly setting - very nice. The hotel is above a cliff and the footpath along the cliff is great for a hikes to the nearby town, beach and a great restaurant. The room we had was not very large but the setup up was done in a smart way and that made the room a nice experience. "

"The manager was helpful, and the room was beautiful. However, there was no heat and the temperature dropped into the 40’s in the night and didn’t get above 58 in the day. The mattress was hard as a rock. Also, hotels.com represented this hotel as being 3.5 miles from either the Sintra train station or the national palace (I forget which one I settled on), but in reality it was 10 miles away from anything. "
