"My first Ibis, probably not the last. It was clean and comfortable and the hot breakfast option was good. Centrally located so it was probably noisy on the side facing Botchergate but they do provide complementary earplugs, my room overlooked a private car park so the earplugs were not required but were used at the Blues Festival."

"Beautiful hotel. The blonde lady on reception was lovely and very helpful. The room was lovely and clean with an amazing view of the lake. The service was brilliant Jack and George were very welcoming and friendly they made sure we had everything we needed. The spa was amazing! We can’t wait to come back and we will look forward to see it when then renovation is complete!"

"Fantastically located hotel. Right in the centre. M and s food store next door. Staff were charming and friendly. I’d certainly stay there again. Parking is a bit tight (say 20 spaces) and the hotel was well attended. That said, there was a cheap car park within a few feet."
