First off the staff was amazing, friendly, so sweet. But sadly the Robin Hill House did not meet our expectations. The pictures seem to have the beauty filter on. While the place is quaint, it’s musty smell, very small rooms, and tiny shower in our room left us wanting more.. This is not a 4 star lodging. Maybe 2.5-3. Breakfast was delicious and our bed was very comfortable. This place needs to have some TLC. Also there isn’t much close by in terms of food options.

Very nice secluded B&B. Very friendly staff, Ann was super helpful with local tourist and historical information. Breakfast was wonderful- don’t forget to add that to your reservation.

Historic building with beautiful grounds and view. Very close to the attractions in Cobh. Deirdre and her staff are warm and friendly and the continental breakfast was excellent.

This place was so quaint, relaxing and beautiful. It was about a 15-20 minute walk to town so not too far, and we enjoyed our stay and the host!

A treasure in Cobh
The proprietress was lovely and could not have been more helpful or charming! We are so grateful and will definitely be back. Of particular note is the cozy fire that was lit for us when we returned from dinner. Perfect evening!

A very pleasant and comfortable Victorian house. All staff that I interacted with were charming and very helpful. The weather was pretty awful but still managed to walk into town (15 minutes) for dinner.

Bedroom was nice but bathroom needed a deep clean. Towels were hard. Explained these issues to lady and she took the comments on board, but no apology. Re the towels she just said we are in a hard water area but so were our next 2 hotels and towels were soft. On leaving 2 days later a bin outside the front door was still overflowing with rubbish as it was the day we arrived.

This hotel was expensive for the condition of the rooms and the building is very run down Also we had to leave the dog in the car Should be dog-friendly

Lovely small hotel 20 minutes walk from rail station via high road. Access is from Lake road although Google shows the back of the hotel. Watch out for church spire then walk towards the hotel flags to find the entrance. Attactive front garde.

Dee is so warm and hospitable. She went out above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Robin Hill it Toby he had ddsddddd House feels homey yet elegant. The beds are comfortable and the breakfast - included in the cost - was delightful. I would highly recommend Robin Hill House. It is located in the beautiful and historically rich village of Cobh.

Robin Hill House was beautiful, comfortable, and quiet. Deirdre and staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was also wonderful. We were able to walk to town and see the sights, eat dinner and have a pint.

Nothing is too much trouble.
Fabulous place with the most friendly host. She went the extra mile for us in securing a table at a local restaurant when we arrived later than scheduled. Lovely staff too. Great breakfast.

My sister and I stayed here for one night on an Ireland road trip and we wish we had planned for another night in Cobh. Upon arrival Dee was so friendly and welcoming and was flexible with a late check-in. Our room was very comfortable and clean and breakfast was delicious and filling. Robin Hill house is set on a quiet street about 20 minutes walking from the center of Cobh. We had a nice walk down to town and were able to safely walk home after an evening in the pubs. I highly recommend a stay at Robin Hill House!

The B&B was very nice and the lady running it was very nice also. They say continental breakfast was included but we ended up getting charged for it. Be careful and make sure you know what you are getting and have to pay for.

Hi Dear Tom Thanks for your kind review but if you check your booking details, even on this website you will see that it was a room only booking and you did not book the breakfast in it. Room only bookings are where customer books the room only without any breakfast. So that is why you were told to pay. It was also explained to you upon your arrival. It is totally a guest's choice to book a room with or without breakfast. Some people like to go out instead of having their breakfast in the guest house, so we cannot force anyone to book a room with breakfast. We had a most delightful stay! The place was absolutely charming. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and had everything needed. The breakfast was delicious and the host, Dee, was a delight to talk with!
