Shutters on the Banks

"The location is the biggest draw of this place. Easy to get to, perfect access to the beach and great central location for all of the outer banks. A few things I wished for… on site rental of boogie boards, beach toys, towels and anything beach related. This would’ve made it a million times more convenient. The bathroom was rough. Not so great shower, especially when you think about the massive amounts of sand we are bringing in. And this is super picky but there were sooo many people on the breakfast area. Make the entire space where the guests get food and change the seating area to that closed off space off of checkin. Or just outside. Also appreciated the cleaning staff dropping off towels every day. Again, so much sand Otherwise we enjoyed our stay"

"Having a room with an ocean view is truly rejuvenating. The room is clean and tidy, and although the bathroom is a little small, it’s perfectly fine. The pool bar is really nice, and being able to eat outside in such a beautiful and cozy atmosphere is a great plus! I thought the breakfast was a little expensive for a typical American breakfast, although you can get refills. The service overall is very friendly, and I would definitely stay there again for one or several nights. The beach is right behind the hotel, with chairs and umbrellas available, and there’s also the pool. So, there’s definitely no shortage of things to enjoy! Gracias"
