Hotel Spa di Coastal Georgia

"Oaks on the River couldn't be more different from the chain hotels and mostly in good ways. The physical layout of rooms set in multiple buildings including two 200-year old mansions is the most obvious. Our king size bedroom felt very king-size. We arrived late in the rain and found our room with A MAP. Dining room was filled but the room service option was there. "We has a great time. The pool was beautiful and the poolside bar was even better. Rooms were cleaned and very easily located for easy access to the convention center. The kids loved riding the ferry over to River St. service was excellent upon checking in. The only complaint I have is the restaurant on the 2nd floor. Poor service there and super slow. We were usually in a hurry due to dance."
