"My husband and I just spent our two week honeymoon in gorgeous Tasmania and Hideaway was the perfect cozy little place to stay in Hobart.  It was lovely and private and we loved the bush setting that it was nestled in.  The views of the town that you get through the window are also to die for.  The home was very neat and clean, the shower and spa bath were excellent, and the king bed with the most awesome huge fluffy pillows was fantastic.  It was nice and warm too! "Room 509 the air con made a terrible noise. Probably needs maintenance. And I was a bit surprised that house keeping only happened if you put a label on your door? Any other hotel it happens as a given. I forgot to put it and when I got back to the room obviously it wasn’t done because I hadn’t put the label on. Maybe doing it by default is a better way? Apart from that the staff were so friendly and amazing. And when I called for more towels I got them instantly. So thank you for an all in all good experience."

"Clean, spacious, comfy beds, all amenities and quiet! Great view too. We spent 3 nights, it’s a short drive to Hobart and also to the Port Arthur region. The nearby town of Sorell has plenty of grocery shopping and pubs for eating. The tavern a walk from the house has awesome meals."
