"This is a new first rate hotel, close to the opera house Manchester. Upon arrival a warm welcome by staff. We were upgraded to a suite which was absolutely amazing. We have stayed in great rooms over the years but this had everything including bath in the bedroom, walk in wardrobe with Peleton well stocked bar. We ate Dinner at the hotel and had done previously. "Only downside was the breakfast quality. Due to an incredibly quiet day with hardly any guests the cooked breakfast offerings were not really edible! Hard bacon, concrete fried eggs - basically all sat there for hours. The breakfast staff were lovely and lots of fresh fruit and yoghurt replaced but the cooked was not really an option. "

"Our favourite hotel in Manchester! This was the 4th time staying here and we will continue to stay here when we visit Manchester. Absolutely love the continental breakfast, the bar is well stocked and it's so relaxing to sit with a drink in the bar area, the staff are always friendly, the hotel is very clean, the rooms are clean and have everything you need for a short stay, the beds are super comfy!"

"Lovely hotel and very clean but the info isn’t very accurate on Expedia site. It said there would be a minibar in the room as well as robes which it didn’t have. It stated 1 king bed and 1 double bed for the 4 of us but it was 1 bed and a sofa bed which pulled out to 2 singles. I think maybe this is an error on the expedias side though. The sofa beds didn’t have sheets we did have to ask for them from reception but they were very accommodating and made the beds up for us before we returned from...

"Glass cutting board was very unpleasant to use and no designated place in the bathroom to hang towels but everything else was very orderly and when we had a clog in our shower, utility services helped us out very quickly and cleanly."

"They made a mistake with my booking, was downgraded, promised a measley 15% refund, never got it, the room was small, run down, rusty faucets, and not too clean. The bar closed at 9 pm on a Saturday night, the food at the restaurant was pricey, soggy and salty. Never again."
