"We had a lovely stay at the Charles hotel and were pleasantly surprised with a free room upgrade on our arrival - a very rare event these days! The breakfast was amazing, with kind, thoughtful and very attentive staff. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel. Munich was amazing with incredible Christmas markets - so much to do and see."

"The location to train station, less than 300 m, the facility was very clean, and the staff very helpful. The young lady Marta, who checked us in was very nice and even gave us a map highlighting local spots. Room was perfect, clean,and cozy. And free coffee 24 hrs a day perfect in lobby, and they do offer breakfast but we skipped that were over 60 don't eat much for breakfast. We will stay again for sure."

"A great choice for our Munich stay. It is a short walk from the old town, so a great location. The room was great. The breakfast was great with lots of choice. The gentlemen waiters at breakfast were so lovely and so efficient. We loved to relax in the bar/ lounge area for a night cap and chat about our adventures that day. I love the incentive the hotel use...if you don't have the housekeeping do your daily room clean then you hang a the supplied bag on the door and you get a voucher worth €10...

"The staff was so fun and friendly. We got a free meat and cheese board at the restaurant and glass of prosecco. There were also 4 beers, 2 cokes, and two waters in the mini fridge that they told us were also free. Plus the breakfast spread was delicious. If I go back to Munich I'll definitely stay there again.
