"Love the Sparrow!"

"The staff were all helpful and pleasant. However the hotel was dirty. It is old and needs a lot of refurbishing especially the carpets. It was very dirty. The hotel smells of cleaning solution. Breakfast however was decent. The pool was green it's almost the same color as algae. The pictures on the internet is different from reality. I give my review a 3 star because of the staff. They were all awesome."

"Parking stalls are very tight. If many guests could have difficulty parking. Also all rooms you need to climb stairs. Just be aware of this. We found the office is not open and all services are contactless similar to VERBO or others, maybe the future. Just be tech literate. Awesome rain shower. Bedtime candy. Tea selection great. Cooling also good, on a busy road so some road noise during night and difficult to cross to get to other restaurants and such. Very close to bike/walk train by river. Interchange in area is very difficult to navigate and signage can be confusing especially to out of town folks, Management changed hands and informed us so we could rebook to keep reservation. Would recommend staying here,"

"This property has good parking and lots of it. The staff is very nice. We had 2 rooms and stayed 4 nights. The refrigerator my room didn't work. I told the staff about it and they said they would send the maintenance guy up. When we returned later that day the room had been cleaned but the frig still didn't work and never did the whole trip. Had the frig in our 2nd room not worked, I would have complained again. As it was, I used the ice bucket full of ice to set down in my cooler to keep drinks cool in my room. Breakfast was the same every day, the only variation being link versus patty sausage, and one day both. Trash can was full one morning g at breakfast so we used the recycle can for trash. The property was also under renovation, which it needed. The location and price was good, and we've stayed there before, so we will continue to stay there when we visit Boise."
