Hotels near Church of San Francisco

"The suites are located in the heart of the city walking distance from the National museum , planetarium, bullfighting ring plaza de toros la Santamaría , there is a mall near by “San Martin” where you can find Crepes and waffles by far my favorite restaurant when I visit Colombia. The main square plaza de Bolivar is walking distance from the hotel taking 7th avenue across the street to the south is a pedestrian zone so you can walk nicely everywhere . Don’t miss out the Gold Museum, The Botero museum and Centro cultural Gabriel Garcia Marquez . (Make sure the museums are open before heading out and also the weather). I love the suites , breakfast is top notch I have not encountered anything similar around the world yet . My room had a Mountain View no matter the time of the day it was astonishing. I did not mind the noise because is located over a main avenue and glass is not noise proof . I’m an early bird so it was ok for me, but if this is a concern to you better ask for a different room."

"Horrible hotel! The worst ever! All the amenities they said in the app was not in the room. The only soap they have was the liquid hand soap. I asked the receptionist and they said they don’t provide anything than the hand soap. Checking in was super slow. Took them to checked me in 45 minutes of waiting. The hotel need the renovation, very dirty room, towels are like rugs, the hot and cold water in the shower were not regulated properly. Either too hot or too cold. Staffs were so unfriendly. They locked me out at 1 pm and waited outside for 20 minutes. They didn’t hear the doorbell and me banging in the door. I was almost late to my tour at 2 pm. The only nice things in that hotel is close to the plaza. I like their living room also. "

"Virrey Central is a surprising hotel. It is only a short walk to the Museo del Oro and the Plaza. My room was basic but practical and very quiet. Everything is very clean and tidy and the staff are helpful and friendly. The breakfast is excellent. "

"The staff was very friendly and helpful, even though she didn't speak any English. The cleaner is also very helpful as well. The room smells very nice during after the 2nd clean up as I like the smell. Room space is more than adequate for me as I am only 1 person inside a double bedroom. Overall i had enjoyed my stay and will likely be back if the price is right."
