"Would have been a 5 star but only 1 A/C unit on the main floor, so bedrooms upstairs and downstairs were HOT and although the towels were really soft…they don’t absorb water!
The place was clean & spacious. Really nice having a garage. Slept with windows open at night to cool off. Good location. "

"The design of the apartments is lovely and sooooo quiet. Brilliantly positioned and easy to access. Easy parking right outside the gate or at The George.
The staff at The George were very helpful and directed us to some great food. Especially ice creams! "

"Return visit after 35 years ! It has gone a bit more upmarket but overall had not changed much . Still very comfortable, clean and convenient for everything beautiful Christchurch has to offer. Loved George the bear who went on to travel all over New Zealand for 3 month with us . Hope to be back before the next 35 years ! "
