"We arrived pretty late due to traveling. We checked in around 8pm and all easy. Room was very clean and spacious. We did not have any wifi access and the code behind the door didn't work. The nespresso machine didn't work. And my husband is a BIG fan of hammocks and there was only 1 hook! So totally useless. And to top it off, the rooms don't have some sort of sound proof and you can hear the TV and chatter from the other rooms. We liked the terrace and wish we could have stayed longer....

"Wonderful experience!! Can’t say enough good things about the staff! The rooms could use some updating, but the staff totally made up for it, Guillermo, in particular. I had the misfortune of breaking my leg near the end of our trip, and not only did Guillermo actually help my husband carry me to our room, but the staff brought us some crutches, a shower seat, and a cooler full of ice. Later, my husband went down and ordered our dinner from the kitchen, and they offered to bring it to our room....

I am spellbound by the whole experience here. The topper was Raul the owner sitting down with us at breakfast and just making us feel like family. "Clean and beautiful hotel in central Merida, right by the main plaza and the market. It is in an old building but the staff do a great job of maintaining it and it has a lot of charm. I appreciated the consistent hot water and that the area is quiet even though it is near the main square. I would stay here again. It could only be better if it had a pool and/or jacuzzi. "
