The most troubling situation was on the third day, we came back to our room door propped open. We had requested our room to be serviced at 10 am that morning before we left. "Bathtub was dirty. Ceiling was damaged. Not much to choose from for breakfast, cereal, oj and yogurt. Bed was fine and staff were nice."

"The stay was OK overall, but the floor from elevator to room was extremely cold ... which led my wife and I to not use the pool for fear of freezing when heading back to the room after a dip. But the last morning wasn't great. There were dogs in the breakfast area which caused me and a few others to just walk away and head to a local restaurant to get healthier choices."

"They had to change our room during late night after we had complaint on AC, but new room didn’t had enough amenities of microwave, stove and big refrigerator. We had to run to lobby to use microwave even for warming up milk. Staff had to consider this and please take care of maintenance. Apart from this bad experience, everything was good."

"Historical building with lots of character, lobby fireplace was warming on a rainy day. The first floor lobby and dining rooms are very dark, great atmosphere but bring a little flashlight. Met a lot of nice people during our stay. The welcoming scotch was fantastic. We heard the breakfast was minimal. It was not, filled with all kinds of homemade apple strudel, mushroom quiche, chocolate pastries, many other delicious sweet muffins, etc."

"Fridge was broken and smelled. "I was here" was written on the wall in black marker. Screens were broken, tub sink dripped all night and the room smelled like mold. Staff was kind but the building and grounds were terrible."

"We had a wonderful stay! The facility was very nice; we had clean room, with a comfortable mattress, and all of the staff were terrific. We had a delicious meal at the restaurant Saturday evening. Information for folks considering a stay. Keep in mind this is not a bed and breakfast with homemade breakfast, but rather an Inn, with a full and wonderful Continental breakfast. It may be difficult for folks with bad knees; the guest rooms are on the 2nd and 3rd floor, although someone will help...

"Super friendly and professional staff. I was able to check in a little bit earlier than the normal check in time. The staff didn't hesitate and just asked if I wanted to be on a lower or higher floor then handed me my keys. The room was clean. Ample amount of parking. Free full breakfast and delicious hot coffee. My first time staying here but definitely won't be my last. I think this will be my go to hotel when I'm in the Syracuse area.
