"Breakfast was simple but good, air conditioning was very good, everything else was okay, nothing special, nothing bad. For the price in the area it is a pretty good deal, but claiming to be a 4 star hotel is very dubious. No 24 hour reception, cafe only open 3 hours a day, no facilities like pool or otherwise, no room service, very small basic rooms. I knew that when booking so it was fine for me, but if you see the 4 Stars and go there expecting a normal 4 star hotel with all the facilities, you'll be very disappointed."

"The property is perfect location , amazing view of the ocean, great place to relax and walk along the shore. I love to stay there again. The apartment needs a little bit of upgrade but still overall cozy place to stay."

"Novotel was good , I stayed for 5 nights. It’s not bad. I wasn’t expecting high class luxury anyways, what you pay is what you get. They can improve on breakfast environment. The dining area definitely needs an upgrade."

"There were still room service plates outside our room from when we arrived till late that night. The ice machine barely worked to produce ice. The food in Terraces restaurant is supurb, but the poor staff performance lets it down. Apart from that, had a good stay"

"Parking is secure, the staff at check-in are friendly and helpful. The pool is beautiful and it is a great location to explore the Gold Coast. The balconies on the rooms are great to sit and enjoy the beautiful views and breeze. My teenage daughter loved the spa. The only small negative, and this was not a surprise as it is in the listing, is that there are no lifts. The views make up for this. This is our second stay and we wouldnt hesitate to stay again. "

"Hotel staff allowed two males to enter my room whilst we were sleeping (mum & son). Massive breach of privacy! Unable to resolve issues with hotel - lack of ownership over incident. Room is not clean. Dirty room "

"Bedding and size of room was good. The location was also quite convenient and staff were friendly. However, the fridge was broken and didn't close properly. The pool had a bit of bird poo in it which made it unappealing. "
