"Not worth it. Way over priced! We stayed one night. Staff are very nice. But the place is of a by gone era. It’s old but not in a charming way. Showers in the onsen are cold and you have to wait for many minutes in order for hot water to come out. The rooms and elevators are old. the outdoor hotspring is on the top floor with no facilities (you have to go downstairs first and shower) and no real view to speak of. The location is on the main drag which is nice. But it should be 1/2 the...

"I loved the onsite Onsen and style of traditional Japanese hotel rooms. The staff was very nice and helpful! Amenities were great! Beautiful hotel room view! The only downside is that the hotel is located on the outskirts of Nagano, so plan ahead as it’s not easy to reach via walking. Shuttle buses are readily available however to help get around."

"We had a lovely stay at the property. Kimmi was extremely attentive. Dietary requirements were catered for with the host going above and beyond. The property is very quiet, there is only one property for overnight stays. Therefore you will be the only guests at the property."

"Great location, just a short walk from the station. It was very convenient for visiting Matsumoto Castle and other nearby sights. The bathroom was spotless, and the rates were affordable. I would happily stay here again on my next trip to Matsumoto."
