Nice hotel, clean, quiet and within walking distance to major attractions. Pool was a bit small and it would be nice to have more selections at breakfast but overall a good stay.

Hotel was beautiful. I loved the food. The place needs better signs. Like where the ice machines are in every floor. Which floor has the pool on it etc. the front desk wasn’t very informative either. I know they see a lot of people a day but that shouldn’t get in the way have making a guest feel welcomed and comfortable.

We loved the location and we were able to walk everywhere. The breakfast was delicious and the staff did a great job with keeping the area clean and the breakfast line moving with how busy it was. The evening reception was super nice! Our only concern was we were not expecting $79/night for parking. I wish it was posted on the website that it was per night. We were under the impression it was $79 for our whole stay.

Needs lots of attention to maintenance details (i.e. toilet paper holder was coming off wall, shower curtain was torn, towels were fraying, closet doorhandle was swinging on one screw)

We like the free breakfast that was included with our stay. Made it easier not having to find breakfast in the morning. Just was one less headache having to deal with. The free omelet bar was our favorite.

The amenities are great and the look of the hotel is beautiful. The staff was unfriendly and sometimes rude. There was also a huge group (over 40) of kids that were running the halls and fighting resulting in the police being called. Staff was not helpful in that incident and even ignored the calls made to the front desk to report what we were seeing.

Customer service was great. The breakfast options were excellent. My only complaint is that there is a super ling wait to get on/off the elevators during breakfast hours. You could be waiting 20 minutes or more to go up or down. Other than that our stay was nice.

I have stayed at this hotel in many other states, but this was my worst experience. My room smelled like a wet dog. I had to keep my window open the whole time. There were people hanging outside their room doors as if they were living in an apartment building, letting their kids have races up and down the hallway. If you are planning on eating breakfast, be sure to have your good supportive shoes as you will be taking the stairs because the elevators do not accommodate the amount of people using the elevator at that time. for reference, we were on the 8th floor. There were young ladies eating breakfast with booty short-like underwear on as if they were in their own kitchen at home. The best part was having to lug all our suitcases for a family of five down the stairs to get to the basement to our car because once again, the hotel elevator does not accommodate the amount of people checking out at any giving time. I will NEVER stay at this hotel again.

With the hotel only having one elevator we waiting over 15 minutes each time we needed to use it. With so many people waiting to use the elevator a big line was forming. Very inconvenient. The stairs wasn’t an option for us. The hotel was also hot.

Although the hotel is beautiful, our room was not necessarily all that clean. We asked for every other day cleaning, and we had to call to remind them. Breakfast staff were fantastic. Front desk staff were hit and miss. On day of checkout, one was incredibly short with me, just about trying to figure out how to get a taxi.

They had tons of people there because it was spring break and one of the elevators wasn’t working the whole time which Matt you waited for five minutes or more every time you wanted to take an elevator.

Stayed 4 nights in April, good location, staff were polite and courteous, but upon check in we reported that the toilet in our room was broken. We were told that an engineer would be up to fix it...after 3 more contacts with the front desk over the ensuing three days, they eventually came and replaced the broken handle. Obviously, something that should have been addressed at the initial indication of the issue, but after repeated promises by the front desk to get the problem resolved, it took a 4th follow up to get any action 3 days after we checked in. Location was good, the overall stay was what we expected from an Embassy Suites aside from the failure to address the broken toilet and the failure to apologize or offer any rate adjustment or other acknowledgement that working plumbing is a pretty fundamental issue in a hotel.

Great hospitality hour and breakfast. Public spaces very open and clean. The staff go out of their way to help make stay easier-simple things like breaking cash into smaller bills( even though mostly cashless world), grabbing silverware when breakfast area not open. We had a great experience for just a one night stay.

Issue with Expedia and hotel - was on phone with both for way to long. Hotel staff dropped ball and lacked communication. Spoke with multiple people at hotel and kept making promises that weren't kept. Manager did not take responsibility for a reservation. Ended up going to a different hotel downtown Chicago (great stay, highly recommended the DoubleTree by Hilton) after having to alter travel plans the day before.
