The Ambassador is one of my favorite places to stay while visiting Chicago. Though, born and raised from Chicago, the ambassador is placed in the rich and lush area in the Gold coast neighborhood in Chicago. There's plenty to do and various lovely restaurants, luxury clothing shops, beautiful architecture and transportation nearby. The hotel itself is legendary for having renowned guests in its history. Its comfortable, lively, accessible, and staff is really keen to help and serve numerous guests whom stay. I highly recommend for people to book and stay. Plan to comeback and stay again :)

Everyone was super friendly and welcoming! Check in and check out was easy! The mattress was very comfy. Location is very convenient near CTA and bus stops!

Considering it was one of the cheaper options in the area, but it was still quite costly for just 1 night stay, based on the room. There was no coffee-maker or microwave in the room, but when requested, the staff was very good at providing it immediately. There was no room-service available via the room phone, but going downstairs to the front-desk responded the requests promptly and were very helpful. The Tub in the bathroom had good shower pressure etc. but was very uncomfortable to stand in, it was kind of tilted inwards, never seen that before, and I've traveled a lot!

Didn’t like my steak .I asked for it medium I got medium well and that lava cake was not good at all taste like it was frozen and reheated needs to be taken off the menu and replaced with a great tasting chocolate cake or a simple ice cream

The staff was great. Every request was answered promptly. It is in the Gold Coast neighborhood. The 3dcoast cafe a block away is great for breakfast or lunch.

Check in was so easy! The hotel is beautiful! The room is spacious and comfy….i could go on forever. Parking isn’t great, but I’m sure the option to valet is cool if you have it like that. One of the best hotel experiences so far would highly recommend

The property is in a nice location for downtown walking and checking out the scenery. Parking is an issue in downtown Chicago but if you drive use the valet parking it’s cheaper. The one thing I didn’t like is the bed which is low to the floor especially for a person of my height, 6’5”. The electric sockets are few and wouldn’t hold the phone plug. However, I was able to plug into the usb and it worked just fine. Great staff working at the desk and in the bar and dining area. All in all the Ambassador is a 9.5!!
