First impressions upon arriving poor. Untidy externally, slates missing from roofs. Reception not manned. Lift not working. Air conditioning not working. Room itself ok BUT, no hot water in the morning at 5.50am in basin or shower. First time EVER. I have stayed in a hotel with no hot water. Would I stay again; no.

Unmanned early departure

Chain hotel everything was good except checkout. I had an early start so was checking out at 5.30 there was no one on the front desk called the number told to leave the key on the front desk. I expect a hotel of this size to have someone there not someone sound like I have woken them up.

A little gem

The staff were super friendly and extremely helpful. A very tasty breakfast with lots of choice. Room very quiet had a great night's sleep. Convenient for visiting surrounding areas.

Very nice hotel clean and tidy our room was comfortable very big and a nice view from the window .staff friendly and helpful nothing was to much trouble. We had a meal in the restaurant in the evening a good selection was on the menu breakfast was ok but would have been nice to have a choice .

The welcome and level of customer care couldn't be better, nothing was too much trouble. Some renovations are under way at the hotel but this didn't detract from the experience. Clean room, good facilities, excellent restaurant. I would highly recommend.
