"Exceeded my expectations"

"You get what you pay for! It’s not too bad of a room if you just need somewhere to sleep for your trip! People greeting in the front were excellent! As for the front desk, check in and out was smooth but we asked for an iron and never got it. AC were a lil iffy, the ac wouldn’t run and even if you try to leave it running it would automatically put itself in auto mode no matter what, so in the middle of the night the room would get hot!"

"The room were very clean, and the free breakfast was great. The room was small and felt crowded without enough space to put your luggage. I didn't like the elevator situation when it was crowded. You had to provide your floor number, and it automatically assigned you to an elevator. Upon our arrival, there was a long wait and then we went past our floor and then stopped at several other floors on the way back down without anyone getting on or off. It seems inefficient but it worked better when there were less people."

"The room and facilities were clean. The staff is kind. The location is great. My only complaint is that it's a bit dour/dreary. So, if you're planning on spending loads of time outside of your hotel room, this place works. Clean, no-frills place to stay while you're in NYC"
