"It's so close to the cathedral! Also liked the bathtub in our room. Good water pressure and lots of hot water."

"We recently stayed at this hotel after breaking down on our journey. Unfortunately, we couldn’t make our first night and phoned the hotel to explain the situation. The woman we spoke to didn’t seem very interested or concerned, and we were disappointed that nobody even asked if we were okay given the circumstances. When we finally arrived the following evening around 5:30pm, the staff there were friendly and welcoming, and the stay itself was pleasant. However, the lack of empathy and customer care during our initial phone call left a negative first impression. Overall, the hotel itself was fine, but better communication and understanding in situations like this would really improve the customer experience."

"Excellent staff, very helpful and polite. The only problem I had was that drawing the curtains in my room was very challenging as the rings on the curtain pole didn’t glide smoothly and you had to wrench the curtain closed and open. Food was excellent and the room was quiet overlooking a peaceful garden. A good 4 out of 5."

"Check in was smooth. Hotel room waste of time, woken up at 6am by the gym - really loud thuds. Hotel told me that my room was allocated away from the noise, clearly not. Breakfast was good and so was the gym"
