"It is a budget hotel, so don't expect much. It is convenient to the train station. The entry and lounge are very nice. The exterior looks inviting. The rooms are very small with tiny bathroom, but clean. The beds were not very comfortable. The walls were thin, the shower very tiny and slippery. The staff was very gracious and helpful."

"We had a family room with a sofa bed. The sofa bed was comfortable. We had a dog which was no problem. They allowed the dog into the restaurant. The food at dinner was very disappointing and not worth the money. But the breakfast was good. "

"Having requested a superior room with a good view, we were bowled over by the incredible views over the pool golf course and miles of countryside from the full length full height opening picture window all along one side of the room. The room itself had all the usual amenities inc kettle,safe,wi fi etc plus a full size fridge, microwave, robes and slippers. Pool area very well kept with heated pool and comfortable loungers. Spa area and jacuzzi also very inviting. Restaurant rather expensive but...

"The hotel is very tired in need of some renovation particularly on the outside which is very shabby and does not create a good first impression. There were dropped packets of tea around near our room. Also disappointed the restaurant was closed as we had intended to eat there. Surely we could have been forewarned. "

"The couple who run the hotel were very pleasant and tried to be helpful but a great shame we couldn't access the internet anywhere in the hotel, or indeed in a brasserie on the town square. Room was an odd shape and rather cramped. Bathroom needed some refurbishment. Quiet and okay for an overnight stop. Avoid the restaurant which was very reasonable but produced 2 meals which had dried out meat and inedible mushy vegetables."

"Ground are amazing except the pool was not open. Did not know that before I booked or would have booked elsewhere. Didn't mind if it would have been cold but was not fit to swim in. "The hotel was clean and comfortable. We arrived very late, around 2am and there was someone at the reception who didn't speak much english but we understood each other. I wasn't expecting much of the hotel because of the price but I think overal was very good. The only thing I saw as a downside is that our room was just above where people go to smoke so I had to smell the cigarrete smoke because the room was boiling as the air conditioning wasn't working. When we arrived to the room, we opened the door and a funny smell came through my nose, like a wool smell but then got used to it. I would say do not book in Summer even if it's for one night because if the air conditioning is not working, you won't be able to sleep at all. Althought is near the motorway, it is very quiet. There is a chinese restaurant next door, mc donalds just 1 minute walking, I saw a steak restaurant next to mc donalds and a few shops accross the road but don't know how to get there (B&M and some other shops that I don't remember). It is about 1 1/2 hour from Lyon airport. "
