"We had to abandon trip due to an emergency tried to move the booking to the following weekend. Initially hotel suggested it was possible but then decided it wouldn’t. Expedia staff were excellent in trying to assist. we understand the terms of the booking but as a frequent traveller the first time we have found a hotel operator to be inflexible which is a shame. As we weren’t able to complete the visit unable to comment on the rest of the facilities but unlikely to choose stop at a days inn...

"Decent town centre hotel, clean room, peaceful night's sleep, friendly reception staff; However, breakfast wasn't that great, shown to a table and then left to fend for myself. Had to ask for coffee, wasn't offered toast or anything, fruit bowl was just juice, and the cooked breakfast was lukewarm. Not one member of staff spoke to me during the 40 mins I was in the restaurant. Never mind, there probably won't be a next time !"

"The Woden Boutique Inn is a gem. Relatively easy to drive to with a private car park. The virtual check-in worked well. Entering one finds a lovely and very clean space. The ambience is quiet and is situated near a park. The Woden is not far from M&S Food and Morrisons. Within a mile there are eating establishments.
