"Good hotel and comfortable bed. Had cancel the second night as the hotel was closed. Access for an 81 year old was very difficult. Lots of stairs to manage. The very cold weather made it even more difficult. The manager was very good and helpful. We hope to get a refund for the second night. The location was excellent and the pub was very quirky and quite special. "

"The room was very neglected, the car park had been blocked but cars parking over the entrance, no water pressure whatsoever for a shower and the main entrance was extremely loud with a party going on. Kids running around reception and all the corridors."

"Room smelled musty. The toilet roll hadn't been topped up before my stay & had to request it was refilled. You need to request a room clean if you require one. Not enough towels provided, had to request more. 1 out of 3 receptionists was friendly, others barely spoke as walked through reception."
