"Beautiful old world building with lovely rooms, bar the bathroom being upstairs. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was good especially the breakfast. Very disappointed that they had a special curry and pint offer where you couldn't have and alternative drink and when we ordered the curry anyway we were charged £20 without the beer wheras it was £15 with the beer!"

"We had a fantastic stay at Miners Cottage for one night while attending the Eden Sessions. It was absolutely perfect for the four of us. The cottage was spotlessly clean, beautifully presented, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. "Very comfortable room, nice clean bathroom. The walls are a bit thin though so we could hear other neighbours, although everyone was asleep at night so no problem to sleep at all. The location of the hotel is great, it is a bit out of the town, in the middle of the valley. The garden is amazing and you can walk to the well a bit far down and to the town itself. The breakfast was very generous and varied."

"Excellent staff, ideal location in the heart of Fowey with waterside terrace. No parking but that was to be expected. The main car park up the steep hill about 10 minutes walk. A shuttle bus service operates to and from the car park from 10am. Pick up in the town by the church, 2 minutes walk from the hotel."
