"I had a really great stay at Villa Maïa in Lyon. The hotel sits up on Fourvière Hill, so the views over the city are absolutely beautiful, especially in the morning and at sunset. The room was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed without feeling over the top. What stood out most was the staff—they were friendly, helpful, and made everything feel easy without being pushy.
The spa area was a nice bonus, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring, and the breakfast was fresh and simple...

"The room was great, the staff was really helpful and friendly. The breakfast really good, they have plenty of options. There is only 1 person working at the spa so me and my wife had to schedule separate massages. Maybe it’s because of the day, me and my wife stayed on a Tuesday. If you don’t mind that tho, this place is great and really beautiful to walk around inside and outside the property."

The room fit and fondue do not reflect the price - layouts are quite strange, ie. no sink on the same floor as the toilet and shower. And Bring your own mattress because the beds are exceptionally uncomfortable.

"Room was the smallest we’ve ever experienced. Almost impossible to get to opposite side of bed without hitting your head on the tv mounted on the wall. Bathroom had a horrible room layout - your knees hit the wall in front of you as you sat on the toilet. Worse than a toilet on a plane. A/C did not work, room was very hot. Don’t waste your money on this place."
