A room with view
We had a great time at the Hotel Les Lacs. The staff was superb and kind always in our requests. The room is simple, but comfortable and most important “warm”. The shower was deliciously hot. It’s really worth to take the breakfast, again simple but effective. Our room has a beautiful view to the Glacier, we never closed our curtains, during the night when we wake up, we just looked out to the Glacier reflecting the moon light, magical.

Nice cosy place. Room and bathroom were great, old building but comfortable. Though disappointed that there wasnt a kettle for tea, nor shampoo and bodywash!

Nice cozy property with good location
Great location right on the bus line and very cozy accommodations. Room was clean and had a nice view of the valley. Good value for the money. The only thing I was lacking was shampoo and conditioner, but to be expected of a 2 star property.

Thank you for your visit and for your very good comment.In the shower dispenser we have opted for an ecological body and hair washing cream. For the moment, no conditioning, but we will think about it.

The host was very warm and welcoming. It was nice to have a room that fit our family (2 adults, 3 kids), and was reasonably priced. Chamonix is so lovely!

Perfect landing spot in Chamonix
Perfect spot at the end of our Haute Route trip. We were offered ski storage and the room overlooked the most beautiful view of the valley. Close bus stop and easy access to town and climbing and trails!

Little gem
This little hotel is about 15-20mins walk from town centre, half an hourly bus services could take you to the slopes easily. The ladies who work there are all very friendly and helpful, though the room is small and basic, but adequate. Continental style breakfast is served for 9.50Euros, this is regarded as cheap given the price in Chamonix itself (supermarket price is twice as much compare to other places in France). Overall we had a lovely stay :)

All staff were very generous and friendly and welcoming - went out of their way to help with all sorts of things - would highly recommend and with the free bus right outside it was lovely to be just out of the Chamonix centre (2/3 stops) and yet so easily accessible

12월초에 방문했는데 방이 너무 추워서 잠을 잘 못잤습니다 ㅠㅜ 추가 담요가있어도 소용없을정도로 추운데 난방을 틀어놓고가면 1단계로 줄어놓으셨더라구요. 그리고 메트리스가 불편하고, 좁아서 둘이서 자기엔 많이 불편하더라고요. 방이 좁고 화장실이 좁은건 가격대비 이해하고 만족하는데 인간적으로 너무 너무 추워서 여기서 숙박하는동안 감기에 걸렸습니다 ㅠ 그외에는 주차도 건물 바로 옆에할 수있어서, 편리하고 친절해서 만족합니다. 특히 가격이 매우 저렴해서 이해하고 만족했습니다.

Purtroppo l'impressione è quella che il prezzo basso sia dato dai pochi investimenti nella struttura (circa il 40% in meno dei dintorni..).. L'albergo è carino da fuori, la receptionist (credo..) cortese, la camera anche carina da vedere.. Ma gli Asciugamani sporchi,il bagno degli anni 80 con rubinetteria rotta e non esattamente lindo.. L'acqua marrone alla prima apertura non comunicano certo belle sensazioni. Poi il materasso è la rete sono stra economici e i cuscini piccoli, la notte e stata davvero difficile.. Si può essere economici senza essere scarsi, peccato.. Speriamo migliorino i dettagli..
