"We recently stayed at Les Balcons du Savoy. The best part of the experience was the location, which is excellent — close to the ski station and the old town, making it very convenient for getting around. However, a few areas need improvement. The apartment cleanliness wasn’t great. There was visible dust on the floor lamp, and the balcony windows looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in a while. The bed mattress was extremely soft, and after three nights both my husband and I had lower‑back pain. We also couldn’t adjust the room heating, and it was so hot that we were sweating even with the windows open. Some facilities also fell short. The game room was dark and had a noticeable smell, which made it uninviting. The swimming pool is nice, but the chlorine was very strong, and the shower facilities could be better equipped with towels and more comfortable showers. Service was another weak point. Staff felt quite cold, particularly Nathalie. When I asked for a room with a better view, she immediately said it wasn’t possible. Only after I asked for her name and to speak to a manager did she return with two options within minutes, which didn’t give a great impression. For first‑time skiers, clearer guidance on how the ski station and transport work would also be helpful. Overall, the location is great, but cleanliness, comfort, facilities, and staff approachability could be improved to make the stay more enjoyable."
