Budget Room on Soi Taied
This is a budget room, no frills. I was a bit deceived by the "3 star" rating on Expedia. On a budget, I would probably stay here again. Good location, comfortable enough. They didn't have hand soap in the bathroom, so I had to go buy some. The reception desk was unattended for hours on-end, It's a budget room, so I was expecting much, but not a 3-star accommodation, in my opinion.
This low budget, Muay Thai themed guest house was one of the worst places I’ve ever stayed. I would never recommend this place to anyone. The only reason that I even booked this place is because my money was stolen in Bali and I couldn’t afford anywhere nicer. Since I prepaid, I had no other option but to stay the week. Every day there were lizards coming in and out of the cracks in the wall. I asked the office if there was anything that they could do and they looked at me like I was being unreasonable. “Lizards are common in Thailand.” I’m from Florida so I know what it’s like living in a tropical place full of lizards. Back home, you’d get one lizard inside every now and again. At this place, I had several lizards in and out daily and you’d never know where they would pop up. The worst thing was the day that a huge spider was in the room. The staff was nice enough to get the spider out but refused to do anything to prevent the lizards from getting in. I’m pretty sure that they could have sealed the cracks to prevent them from coming but they refused to even try. Stay at your own risk!
I arrived and they didn't have a room for me. Had to stay somewhere else that wasn't as nice and didn't have the same amenities and then they wouldn't give me a discount.

8th stay here
I have stayed at this quaint little place 8 times already in 5 years of visiting Phuket - I like the simplicity of it all - makes for good environment to truly unwind and let it all go - the rooms are all built around the pool so it serves as a nice place for everyone staying there to meet and talk - some of the best people and friends I have met on my travels was in this very hotel - i will definitely come back for more!
The hotel/guest house is family-run and I was pleasantly surprised at the facilities considering the price.
I found that the reception staff were always helpful and spoke good English.
The rooms are clean (cleaned daily) and the pool area is nice - albeit not massive.
I would recommend for anyone looking to spend time in Chalong training.
It is conveniently placed on the road where the majority of restaurants/shake bars/cafés are and is in between Tiger and Top Team (both a five minute walk).
The area in general is geared towards fitness and Muay Thai so don't expect any type of party atmosphere
Located in the middle of almost all the gyms along the road. I was training at tiger and it's just 5min walk there. Has it own mini mart, swimming pool and a nice front "yard/balcony" for the standard room (which is big enough for another 2 sleeping bag maybe haha) Surrounded by great awesome thai food store (look out for where locals are eating). Definitely going back to them when i return for training.

There was a lizard in the room as well as ants. I guess I got what I paid for.
Just what I needed. Somewhere to lay my head that was comfortable and not expensive. Pool area was nice and a great place to meet people.

Clean and lovely hotel with great location.
We came to stay at Phuket Muay Thai House for two weeks during a trip to Chalong.
Pros -
Close to Tiger Muay Thai (3 minute walk), Dragon Muay Thai (across the road), Phuket Top Team (5 min walk)
Great air conditioning
Very quiet during the day and night
Good location for Wat Temple, Big Buddha, Phuket Zoo etc
Taxi available to hire on site
Staff were friendly and helpful
Has a lovely restaurant attached to the hotel
Very beautiful flowers and trees on site
Cons -
Bed was super hard - (made sleeping difficult)
The pool had several issues and was out of commission for 6 days
Wifi was weak
