"Great choice for car drivers as gated parking lot. Very comfortable room with ac, fridge, good wifi and two beds and breakfast. Very helpful Mauricio advice and booking local park entrances. Would have missed somethings without his input. Included visit to thermal pools. A bit noisy from intermittent road traffic at night, but also able to walk everywhere as downtown La Fortuna. Inexpensive."

"Husband and I had a pleasant stay at chachagua. We arrived late at night and was greeted at the front desk with hand towels and fruit juice. Checking in was smooth and we were escorted to our bungalow (make sure to have a high car as you will drive through a low river). Bungalow was private and very clean. "If you’re planning to escape the city’s chaos, this is the perfect place to do it. Waking up to the soothing sounds of birdsong and the gentle cascading of a waterfall is an incredible experience. The staff, including Eric and Carla, are incredibly kind, friendly, and helpful. The only inconvenience is that it’s located far from everything and everyone.
