"Nice hotel, probably the best you are going to find in downtown Sacramento, very historic. Great rooms, beautiful restaurant. If you plan on walking anywhere, be prepared to be approached by aggressive homeless and panhandlers. Not the hotels fault, the city doesn't seem to care about this problem, in fact they seem to welcome it. Parking is $47 - A DAY! Valet only, add a tip to that!"

"Hands down the best hotel in Sacramento! They upgraded our room to a corner room with a beautiful view of the capitol. There was live music at the bar and lobby area. We absolutely enjoyed it here and highly recommend staying here!"

"The Harbinson House was a great place to stay for going to a show at Ace of Spades. It is in a beautiful historic neighborhood and the place itself is a quirky historic home. I was able to walk back and forth from the venue while looking at the amazing architecture of the houses. My room had an Alice In Wonderland theme with a functioning Victorola which was really cool. "The hotel itself was great. However, throughout the night they were various power surges that cut our electricity off. I could handle without an air conditioner but when you wear a CPAP not having electricity makes it very difficult to sleep and breathe. Upon checkout, the staff said they would have someone check it out, but didn’t offer much beyond that. A breakfast or something would’ve been great. But I’m sure that that didn’t cross their mind."

"The building is incredible, and a great place to stay in the city - quiet, comfortable, and very close to everything downtown. Staff were warm and friendly, the facilities were very clean, the bed was comfortable. They have a deal worked out with a lovely cafe a couple blocks away so you can get a discount on meals and drinks there. The only walkable groceries are convenience stores/bodegas, but I expected that in a city. Would highly recommend, and I'll be back anytime I need to come through...

"Stayed here during a day trip with my daughter and had a great overall experience. The property was clean, appeared to be fairly new, and was conveniently located near the Capitol building. The only minor downside was the shower design. I’m not a huge fan of the partial glass shower door (or lack of a full door), but that seems to be a common trend in newer hotels these days. "Nice front desk staff"

"Clean, quiet hotel within easy walking distance of Sutter Health Park. There is a charge to park at the property in a secure lot. Great breakfast, friendly, helpful staff. The property is in West Sacramento and much more affordable than lodging on the east side of the river. The neighborhood is not posh, but we never felt unsafe walking to baseball or the river. We had an enjoyable four night stay and would definitely stay here again."
