The house is in a beautiful location and the standard room was very clean when we arrived. The picnic hamper is a nice addition and came in very handy. And the bed was very comfortable. My only negative opinion was we booked a 11 night stay and could only have the room cleaned if we paid an additional €20. I would have liked clean towels and a basic room clean at least once while we were there for a longer stay. But overall a lovely place in the real Tuscan countryside.

This is not a hotel as advertised on Expedia. There is no open restaurant, bar or attached winery as stated on the Expedia description. The accommodation itself is fantastic, very clean and comfortable and has clearly had time and money put into it. The beds were very comfortable. I was sent check in instructions an hour before check in so did not meet the host at any point during my stay. There is access to the pool in Casa D’Africa which is a restaurant opposite the accommodation. The guests have exclusive use of this on certain days during the week although no one checks this and there were many people who were clearly not guests just turning up to use the pool. On a Monday night this restaurant has a “party night” so there are all sorts of people turning up in their cars and there is music and partying until around 1-2am. That should be advertised before booking, especially if you have young children with you and are trying to sleep. Casa D’Africa is closed on a Tuesday and Wednesday so we did not get to eat in the restaurant. The location of the property is out of the way of the town so you do need a car to get to local restaurants etc. So there is no where to get a drink or eat something at the hotel. The host has created a very helpful instruction book with local restaurants, vineyard tours etc. We had a comfortable stay but it was nothing like I expected and so I wanted to give an honest review so that people know what to expect.

This was a beautiful property in the country! Fabulous views and our room was appointed beautifully. The pool was really refreshing, but swim up bar was closed. Convenient parking, but rooms are located up a flight of stairs.

Sehr gemĂŒtliche und Saubere Unterkunft mit Modernen Zimmern. Besonders gut fanden wir das Heft mit den Persönlichen Tipps der Gastgeberin. Es hat uns sehr bei der Auswahl von Restaurants oder Weinproben geholfen. Wir können die Unterkunft nur empfehlen! Die Gastgeberin war jederzeit erreichbar. W-LAN ist vorhanden und auch ausreichend von der Geschwindigkeit. Alles bestens.

The hotel was very neat, nice and comfortable. Everything was provided, air conditioning, wifi, coffee, hairdryer, shower gel, enough towels, lots of pillows ... They were very friendly and helpful, you can ask anything. Across the street there is "casa d'africa" where you can use their swimming pool for free. This place is much nicer than the pictures show. There is also a pool bar where you can sit from in the pool. There is also a restaurant. In the area there is not much to do, there is a supermarket and a bakery. A very quiet and beautiful area but having a car is recommended.
