In addition to the property being stunning, everyone was so kind and helpful. The food was amazing… homemade and delicious. Our children loved the terrace. Great spot for families.

The ambience of the property and grounds was beautiful. We were just disappointed with the breakfast. It didn’t feel like a luxury experience for the price of the stay. There was no fresh bread or croissants and the choice was otherwise quite limited. I requested a gluten free breakfast but was offered rice cakes and gluten free cup cakes whereas hotels normally provide gluten free bread or rolls for breakfast. The coffee was cold and we would have expected fresh coffee or a cappuccino to be served at the table. It was also a shame not to sit outside for breakfast in the beautiful courtyard.

Stay at the castle

Overnight stay on our way to Lake Como. Pity it was raining as the castle grounds would have been wonderful to walk around. The host is very pleasant and welcoming. The site is over 2000 years old with additions added during the renaissance, has been been nicely renovated

Beautiful and Tranquil property

I can't say enough positive things about our stay! The hosts were incredible and have created a beautiful and tranquil property. We stayed for two nights with our two young boys and had a great time. Then entire property is charming and comfortable. It's within walking distance to the train station which makes it convenient to get to Milan or Lake Como. My kids talk about going back all the time!

Vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Hadden wat muggenspray nodig, die van ons bleek niet effectief, werd gelijk gepakt. Ventilator voor op de kamer gevraagd, werd gelijk geregeld. Kwameb pas om 18.00 aan, wuugewtie voor de bar (2min lopen) was ideaal. Hamburger (ook vegan), broodje worst voor de kinderen. Hadden ramen dicht gedaan tegen te muggen, bij terugkomst stond alles open voor de verkoeling, ook fijn dat ze hierover meedenken. Miuggen drukte de pret, zodra je uit de auto stapt werd je aangevallen. Bij 't zwembad zijn we snel weggegaan, want het was niet te doen met die muggen. Zou die sprays die jullie hebben gelijk klaarzetten op de kamer, andere tips: - stop extra flessen water in de wijnkoeler of op tafel voor ontvangst, kost niks en hadden we heel erg blij van geworden. Scheelt weer vragen. -bedek niet het bed met een dichte deken, dit houdt de warmt vast in het bed. Bij het moment van naar bed gaan was de kamer koeler dan het bed..Deze was nog bloedheet en resulteerde in een klamme zweterige nacht.

Amazing stay!

amazing stay in a gorgeous location. The owner was extremely helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We stayed the night before flying home from Milan and it was a perfect location and the family rested after a week on the slopes!!

Gorgeous getaway

For our family party this was an idyllic country location, incredible historic property, and beautiful grounds. Easy walking distance to the train station for day trips to Milan during Design Week. We had hired a car from Bergamo Airport so we could visit local restaurants and surrounding parks. Our hosts were incredible, assisting us with medical appointments for one of our party. Nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommended.

Wonderful place to stay

Wonderful restoration, set in beautiful grounds, and run by an amazing family who go out of their way to make your stay special. Lovely pool area and places to relax within the building and grounds. The apartment rooms were spacious and well equipped.

This place is a gem. Who would have thought that such a historic and romantic venue, could host a business traveller effectively. Well, the lady of the ‘castle’ certainly did a great job of making my stay comfortable, wifi supported and good breakfast before leaving to my next customer meeting. Thank you for adapting in between weddings and making the place available.

Beautiful Medieval Castle

We have had such a wonderful stay here in this beautiful medieval castle which has been lovingly restored. Our suite was very spacious for our family of four and the swimming pool was great. Marina, Lorenzo and family were so welcoming and lovely hosts that we didn't want to leave!!

A Castle with a difference!

Beautifully restored castle in wonderful grounds with a great pool. Furnished to a very high standard with all the comforts of being a home. Lovely welcoming hosts who took time to share their local knowledge and recommend a perfect itinerary for our stay. Very clean, private, spacious and peaceful stay in great location with easy access to Milan and the surrounding lakes. Plentiful breakfast with homemade omelettes. Would highly recommend.

Liebevoll restauriertes Castello

Ein ganz besonderes Ambiente. Die Besitzer sind super nett, wir haben uns wie in einem Schloss gefühlt. Das Kaminzimmer ist toll eingerichtet, besonders das bezaubernde Kinderzimmer unterm Dach mit seiner Sternentapete. Den kleinen Pool hatten wir ganz für uns.
