"I have stayed at the Honky Tonk Colonial on numerous occasions, the staff has always been very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The hotel is located in a very quiet and nicely shaded area, about a 3 minute walk from Columbus park, lots of restaurants, shops, currency exchanges and a pretty decent grocery store. This is my go to hotel when staying in Santo Domingo."

"Very nice convenient hotel. Breakfast was good and staff Is very helpful. My only complain was that I had no hot water, no area to place my bar soap or shampoo inside standing ahower. The curtain in my room needed stitching. I highly recommend this hotel. Location is excellent- close to all the great restaurants and night life."
