I guess I just expect a lot for the very high rates charged, so of course a comfortable king bed and nice towels are only what one would expect. "We booked for our 22-year-old daughter, who was traveling solo and needed to be in close proximity to Union Station. After researching properties in the area where we felt it would be safe for her to stay by herself (she was checking in very late on the night she arrived), we found this gem. She got to her unit and immediately texted us and said, "This is so nice, I could totally see myself living in a place like this!" The host was communicative and responsive. 10/10 would book again!"

"Overall, our 2 night stay at the Silversmith didn't meet expectations. I wasn't expecting anything fancy as I don't seek out "fancy" when booking a hotel. I just look for clean and comfortable with very good service. Unfortunately, this was not the case at the Silversmith. The room furnishings were rather worn, the bed was soft, the pillows were very lumpy and the curtains were not attached properly.
