"Gorgeous location for the hotel, and clean rooms. Rustic vibe. Extremely pretty view from the windows and good breakfast. Be warned it is a little difficult to carry luggage manually up the steep slope to the hotel. Taxi to help carry everything costs 16 CHF from the station to the hotel."
"The hotel was clean and modern. The staff was friendly and professional. It is a 2 minute walk to the train station. The hotel gives you a discount train pass for the whole area, good for trains and buses. The pass also gives you a 10% discount for Mount Pilatus train ride. Morning breakfasts are included. It is a great place to stay."
"The hotel was nice, very clean and updated, and in a fairly quiet location. The hotel was thoughtful in the planning of the room-- a fan was provided in addition to the built-in ceiling fan, extra and different weight blankets than what was already on the bed, black-out shutters, screened windows, and plenty of glasses. I would recommend this hotel.

"This hotel exceeded my expectations. The room was comfortable, clean, and well stocked with amenities. The property has a great location but really stands out with the staff - every team member I interacted with was incredibly welcoming, kind, and helpful.
A short walk to shops and restaurants, a beautiful lake view, and walkable to the train station (about 20 mins, easy enough even with luggage).

"This hotel was absolutely wonderful and made our trip to Engleberg so worth the detour we took to go there. The staff was excellent with the most note worthy service being provided by Freya and Lazio. We stayed in the Epoque room which was one of the loveliest beautifully appointed rooms with rounded windows but modern Scandinavian style furniture and a gorgeous up to date bathroom! And the bed was extremely comfortable. We had an outstanding experience and highly recommend this property. "
