"Perfect stay"

"This hotel is exactly as advertised. It is a beautiful, quaint, elegant hotel in the middle of downtown Sedalia. They have really done a lot to maintain the original construction as much as possible. The food in the Oak Room was 5 stars and moderately priced. Excellent walking distance to almost anything you would like to see. The downtown architecture is beautiful. Would definitely return."

"Perfect location. We could Walk the Katy trail to the farmers market and restaurants. The hotel bar was quaint and had wonderful crafted drinks. The dining room and food were fresh and delicious. Our room overlooked the river , but was somewhat noisy due to the cooling system located above us on the roof. Overall this hotel was nostalgic and a delight to stay at."

"There was roaches in our room. It wasn't cleaned well at all. Did not stay the night. Had to finf another hotel."

"The standard room is nothing more than a Motel 6 set up and over $200/night. The doors are on an exterior walkway and have cracks that let in air, noise and light from the walkway outside. We could hear snoring and full conversations through the walls. The continental breakfast was breads and yogurt. The indoor pool was ok but only 3.5 feet deep and the only place to swim; the outdoor swim up bar was wonderful but you cannot swim in it. This is not a resort."
