"It was stated that check-in is at 4:00pm. We arrived at 6:00pm and were told our room was not ready and to check back in an hour. We came back at 7:30pm and were able to check in but when we entered our room it appeared that it had never been cleaned from the previous occupants. We hauled our luggage back down from the 8th floor, were given a new room but then were presented with what appeared to be blood droplets all over the comforter once we pulled it back. "The hotel was excellent "

"It is an older building in the heart of downtown so it’s expected to not be perfect condition…this is why I gave it 4 stars. Valet waiting on you, handed keys over and went to front desk. Check in fast. Room was excellent!!!!! TV saying welcome with my name. The bathroom was a true handicap one. Complete roll in shower. Restaurant atmosphere was perfection. Will be back!!!!!! Stay here when you’re needing a place when your downtown KC!!!"

"Staff was very friendly and helpful! Free game room was fantastic! Pool and hot tub area was clean and well kept! Rooms were spacious and clean as well. Overall great experience!"

"Bed was not comfortable and the pillows were even worse. The breakfast was very plentiful and hot and fresh. There was a group of 10 of us we were fortunate to stay in building one but 2 of the couples who were older were in building 2 on the 3rd floor and the elevator was not working. "

"I booked my stay a month in advance. When I arrived my room was obviously dirty. They couldn’t clean it for me nor give me another room because they were completely booked. The staff had no idea how to fix the situation. I didn’t even to get to stay there. On top of all that they double charged me. They said I was a no show on my second night even though the didn’t have a room for me? It was completely ridiculous "
