"The property is directly across the street from the beach, the area is full of restaurants and shops. A short walk to the old city center. The restaurant has good food and the staff was great. The room was very roomy, we did have a not so great view, but i'm sure the rooms facing the water had better ones."

"I liked the view: fabulous. But the location was spoilt by being just 30 metres from the Palermo-Messina mainline railway track. I was disappointed by the property's poor maintenance: broken door/window blind, broken washing line, shower room door grating noisily on the tile floor (irritating in the middle of the night), no soap dish in the shower, pock-marked mirror, only one bedside table, outside area unweeded, minimalist breakfast (coffee/tea and a packet of biscuits). And the room lacked...

The staff is outstanding and attentive and cares for its guests. I have been singing its praises since staying there. I highly recommend you take the time for a visit if you are on Sicily. "Breakfast is outstanding. Everyone is very attentive. The grounds are beautiful. The wine is delicious. Everyone at the desk can't be more helpful. It is a bit of a difficult drive-in and out but well worth the effort. The rooms are clean well appointed. The only thing missing is shampoo in the rooms. They give you robes and slippers. I would be very happy to go back there if I ever came back to Sicily."
